Section 910 - Offenses Against Property
Section 910:00. Offenses Against Public or Private Property.
Subd. 1. Injury to or Removal of Property. No person shall willfully, maliciously, wantonly, negligently, or otherwise injure, deface, destroy, or remove real property or improvements thereto, or moveable or personal property within the corporate limits of this municipality, belonging to any unit of government or to any person.
Subd. 2. Scattering Rubbish. No person shall throw or deposit or scatter upon any sidewalk, alley, street, bridge or public passageway, or upon any private property, any waste or other material of any kind.
Subd. 3. Posting Notices. No person shall fasten in any way any show-card, poster or other advertising device upon public or private property within the corporate limits of this municipality unless legally authorized to do so.
Subd. 4. Tampering with Municipal Property. No person shall tamper with, injure, deface, destroy or remove any sign, notice, marker, fire-alarm box, fire-plug, topographical survey monument or any other personal property duly erected or placed by this municipality.
Subd. 5. Removal of Earth. No person shall move, disturb or take any earth, stone or other material from any public street, alley, park or other public ground, except as authorized by the City Engineer or Park and Recreation Superintendent.
Section 910:05. Acts and Public Property Damage Prohibited.
Subd. 1. No person shall willfully or negligently cut, injure, mar, deface or destroy any shade or ornamental tree, hedge, shrubbery, plant or flower standing and growing in any street, alley, park, school ground, cemetery, jail ground or other public place within the corporate limits of this municipality.
Subd. 2. No person shall willfully, carelessly or negligently cut, injure, mar or deface any walk, sidewalk, other public property, in any alley, street, park, school ground, cemetery or other public place within the corporate limits of this municipality.
