New Online Registration System

We are transferring to a newer, more user-friendly online registration system.  We will go live with the new system, Max Galaxy, on February 20.  In the meantime, please create an account in the new system so you'll be ready for spring registration which begins on February 22.

Outdoor Public Skating - Rinks are now open

The Warsinski Chalet, located at Morehouse Park, is a large warming house complete with skate and cross country ski rentals and food concessions.  The skate rental fee is $6 for two hours.  The chalet is located at the west end of School Street. Chalet hours:

  • Sundays: 12:00 - 9:30pm
  • Saturdays, Holidays & School Vacation Days: 11:00am - 9:30pm
  • Monday - Friday: 3:00 - 9:00pm 

Family bonfires are held Saturday evenings at 5:30pm.  Schedule is subject to change due to weather and ice conditions. 

Special Events     

Washer Board Tournament & We All Play Silent Auction, Saturday, March 17 - The 6th Annual Mike Hanson Washer Board Tournament and a silent auction for We All Play will be held at the Owatonna Eagles Club. Proceeds from the Washer Board Tournament benefit the Park & Rec Scholarship fund, for more information regarding the tournament see the flyer and visit the We All Play's website for more information on the silent auction.

Youth Registration

Registration will begin February 22 for the following:

  • Soccer
  • Spring Swimming Lessons
  • Youth Lacrosse
  • Little League Baseball*
  • Girls Fastpitch*
  • T-Ball
  • Squirt Ball

Register online using our new registration system, Max Galaxy (system will go live February 20, create an account now to be ready for spring registration), in person at the Parks & Recreation office or call 507-444-4321  

*Baseball and softball registrants are encouraged to register in person to try on uniforms. Register at the Park & Rec Office Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 5:00pm or at Registration Night at SeniorPlace, February 26 from 4:00 to 6:00pm. 

Adult Registration

We are now taking registrations for Adult Summer Softball.  Visit the Adult Softball page for more

information.  The Registration Form is due to the Park & Rec office March 14.

Park Pavilion Rentals

Pavilion Rentals are available one year in advance.  Call the Parks and Recreation office at 444-4321 or stop by our office to make a reservation. Payment is due at the time of the reservation.
