Park Passport - The Park Passport program is an initiative of the City of Owatonna Parks and Recreation Department to promote healthy lifestyle choices. How it works:
*Due to park conditions the white Passport signs will not be put up until Friday, September 30 and will be kept out until October 10. Completed passports will be due to the Park & Rec Office by October 14.
-Visit the parks listed and find the hidden password. Parks will have a small sign mounted to a post along the trail with a word on the back. Yellow signs will be placed September 9-22 and then removed. White signs, in different locations will be placed September 23-October 3.
-Reveal the phrase! Write the hidden password for each park in the appropriate box on your passport to see the message.
-Return your completed passport to the Park & Rec office for a chance to win one of many great prizes!
*There's been some confusion regarding the Passport sign at Kaplan's so here's a hint: Take the first Mountain Bike Trail to the left. If you've been out looking for the sign and haven't been able to find it please call our office at 507-444-4321 and we'll give you the word.
