WATER AEROBICS

This class is designed for an aerobic workout that stresses movement of the joints, muscles, and heart.  A great small pool environment which includes a water temperature of approximately 88 degrees which is great for rehabilitation and arthritis.  Numerous classes offered, but class sizes are limited.  Sign up monthly at the fitness desk at the West Hills Tennis and Fitness Center.

WALKERS’ CLUB

 1. Participants of this program are allowed to walk ONLY during the days and times specified below.  If someone would like to use the facility at a different time, that person would need to pay the normal daily or membership fees.

                                             *Monday through Friday

                                             *8:30am – 10:30am

                                             *2:00pm – 3:00pm

 
 2. Walkers participating in this program are allowed to use either the track (or the basketball court if the court is not being utilized for other activities) to walk ONLY (participants are not allowed to play basketball or do other activities in the gym or track).  Participants are also not allowed to use the weight room, cardio equipment, sauna, pool or Tennis Center.

3. Participants of this program will purchase a 10 use punch pass

                                              10 use punch pass = $10.00

 

PERSONAL TRAINING

Aaron Halla is an Owatonna native and an OHS alumni. He has a strong education and experience background in personal training, graduating from Minnesota State University - Mankato with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education, Non Teaching (Exercise Science), an Ace Trainer Certification and many years experience as a fitness trainer. He has trained individuals of various levels of fitness from athletes, to beginners, to those with special needs. Aaron has a flexible schedule, affordable training packages, and will work with you to meet all your fitness and health needs. All training is done at the West Hills Tennis and Fitness Center. Those looking to use personal training servies must either be a member of the West Hills Tennis and Fitness Center or pay the day pass fee.

Circuit Strength Training Class

This strength training class is an entry level class that will enhance the way your body feels. You will be working to improve your strength, balance, coordination, stamina, and more. The goal of this class is to help participants create more muscle tone and increase balance and coordination in daily activities. Modifications to exercises will take place throughout the six week session to ensure participants obtain full benefits. This is a full body workout and will target every major muscle group in the body. All ability and experience levels are welcome. Classes will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30 - 6:30 in the West Hills Tennis and Fitness Center gym.

Price for 12 Classes:

West Hills Member: $30.00

Non-member: $50.00

Single session: $10.00 (non-members must purchase West Hills day pass)
