Youth Football Players Kick off meeting-Thursday, August 23rd-OHS Football Field 5:45-7:15 PM
This is a tackle football program for 5th and 6th graders. Games are played Monday and/or Tuesday evenings and/or Saturday mornings. Practices are held when coaches schedule them. The youth are weighed at the time of registration at the Parks and Recreation Office. There will be no light weight/heavy weight division this year. We will use their weights to split the teams evenly.
Dates: Program begins at the end of August. Coaches will call their players after the coaches meeting in late August. The program continues through mid October.
Cost: Fee is $40.00 if registered July 25, 2012-August 8, 2012: Fee is $50.00 after August 8, 2012.
NEW for 2012: You do not need to bring your child in to be wieghed this year. We do do have a scale if you are unsure of the weight. (Grades 3-6)
We will be taking registrations for Parks and Recreation football at the Owatonna Huskies Football Camp on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at the OHS Football Field. (Jeff William's Camp 507-455-3130-flyers available at the Parks & Recreation Office)
