Soccer
A fun, all-inclusive exposure to the wonderful game of soccer for boys and girls age 5 through 6th grade. Children must be 5 years old as of April 1, 2013. The youth learn basic skills in a fun and social setting.
The youth are able to demonstrate what they learn by playing a league schedule besides practice sessions.
The youth are divided into four separate boys and girls divisions:
- 5 year olds and kindergarten (mostly Mondays and Saturdays)
- 1st and 2nd grades (mostly Tuesdays and and Saturdays)
- 3rd and 4th grades
- 5th and 6th grades
The youth are coached by volunteer coaches. Practices are held when coaches are able to hold them, with games being held weekday evenings and Saturday mornings. The only equipment required is shin guards, and athletic shoes, which each child must obtain.
Early Bird Fee is $46.00 (including tax) and Fees after March 7th, 2013 are $56.00 (including tax)-Stop up at the office to sign up -no on-line registration at this time.
Games are all held at the Soccer Complex.
Coaches Meeting: April 9th, 2013-Coaches will call kids for their first practice
Program Dates: Starts the week of April 15, 2013 through the first week in June 2013
Parent/Coaches Training: Saturday, April 14th, 2013 (Time and Location to be determined)
ELK's Soccer Shootout will be May 18th with the make-up scheduled for June 1, 2013. 8:30am-1pm by the Lincoln Soccer Pavilion.
